Corporate Sports Events
The Oman Downwinde r is an adventurous experience that consists on traveling with a non-motorized craft from Duqm (Al Wusta) to Ras Al Jinz (Ash Sharqiyah South). The Oman DownWinder was designed to be an experience for Kitesurfing, Wingfoiling and/or windsurfing and to serve as script to produce a short movie, promoting Oman and the country’s coastline conditions to practice sea and beach sports, mainly Kitesurfing and Wingfoiling. However, it can also be applicable to Canoeing, Ocean Kayaking and Stand-up Paddling. As the longest downwinder in the entire Arabian Sea, this 10-day expedition offered an unparalleled adventure, with the options of sections lasting three to five days. Participants discovered remote, untouched landscapes and breathtaking paradisiacal locations that could not be accessed any other way. The journey provided opportunities to ride perfect waves, glide over pristine flat waters, explore natural lagoons, and even, with a bit of luck, kite alongside dolphins, turtles, and schools of fish. To ensure both safety and enjoyment, the experience was fully supported with catering, accommodation, and sea and land assistance. It was truly an adventure worthy of Sinbad the Sailor, exploring Oman’s hidden waters in a way that few had ever experienced.
